Technical Data

Construction
Frame - 80 x 80 x 8mm mild steel angle.

Door leaves - 6mm mild steel plate with 100mm x 6mm flat bar, welded and riveted to both sides to give a two panelled door appearance.

Over panels - 6mm mild steel plate with 100mm x 6mm flat bar, welded and riveted to both sides to give a panelled appearance and bolted in place with locknuts to rear.

Double doors - have heavy duty channel mullion, bolted into place. Inactive door leaves also bolted onto the mullion.

Fixings
M12 sleeve anchors, at least 75mm of which should be located within the supporting structure. An intumescent mastic of the same fire rating must be used.

Supporting Structure
Class A or B engineering bricks or reinforced concrete, with minimum 150mm high threshold preventing the passage of fluids under the door.

Finish
Primer paint as standard. Due to the weight of these doors, we advise that the final finish takes place after installation.

Door Furniture
Internal three point operation, heavy duty mild steel LOCKing assembly secured by external padlockable front handle or alternatively, internally locked with no external access.
OR
Surelock McGill Type B1 three point locking panic bar system to inside with padlockable Sunray 6000 Hasp & Staple to front allowing escape from inside and key holder access from outside.

Hinges
Two heavy duty rising butt hinges ensure closure of door and one plain hinge to each leaf. All welded in position.
