The Sunray Doors Louvre Facade is a unique system which incorporates both doors and louvres within the same system and can be fully / part LPS 1175 security rated. The overall concept provides an aesthetically pleasing ventilation / visual solution to meet all major energy providers / architects’ specifications and requirements. Bespoke and custom designs, including arch, curved or any tailored specific requirements to suit a variety of structural openings. The Louvre Facade can also incorporate cable access solutions or customer specific requirements and specifications.

Robust, durable, and high-quality facades can be tailored to suit all architectural requirements / designs and meet customer ventilation demands, along with certificated and recognised security protection. Designed and approved for numerous business sectors including, utilities, commercial and industrial applications.

  • Top Louvre panels can be fixed through front face if rear space is restricted or internal access is not available.
  • Non-fire rated.
  • Architectural marine grade polyester powder coat finishes as standard.

Unlimited height and width of assembly subject to structural restrictions.

Louvre Section

Louvre blades welded into a 50mm x 18mm x 3mm steel angle section framing. Louvre blades formed to profile shown.

Frame

100 x 50 x 3mm rectangular hollow section to sides, sides plus head or all four sides Lugs or through frame fixing options available for framework, (fixings supplied). All fully demountable construction. Alternative frame profiles available. Hinge parts welded to frame and door leaf.

Air flow

Approximately 50%.

Fixing Method

Door/ Louvre frames second fixed within structural openings using M10 expansion anchors to masonry/concrete openings or M10 machine screws to drilled and tapped holes in steelwork. Frame to wall joints sealed with mastic sealant.

Hardware

Internal multi-point panic bar with Sunray 6000 with hasp & staple to the outside. Mortice Locking. Maglocks. Various other locking features available. Door closures. Door stays (holding doorset open to 90°).

Finishes

Top coat: Architectural marine grade polyester powder coat. 30% gloss level. 60-80 microns thickness. Optional marine grade zinc rich primer for enhanced corrosion resistance. 60-80 microns thickness. Stocked range of 58 standard colours. Other colours and finishes available on request.
